1) Patreon
Patreon has been going through some remodeling. They have introduced a free subscription service which allows anyone to get email notifications of public posts. This allows everyone to receive the public updates at the same day and time they go live on the main site! If you’re not into emails, you can also get notifications on your phone.
But for as little as 1€ per month, you’ll get early access to the comics and some other exclusives for paid members. Plus, every bit of help allows us to keep working on our projects. Jus’ saying.
2) RSS Feed
RSS is another way to receive notifications. The blog or news site feeds its updates into an RSS reader, and then the reader informs the subscriber that there’s a new post.
To be notified by RSS, all you need is a RSS reader. We use a Chrome extension called Feeder that adds a cute button to the browser which alerts us when there are new comics to read.
There are a lot of options for RSS readers. Most of them are free (but some paid ones are worth the trouble, with really cool tools). To add a site, all you have to do is access that website and click on the “+” icon in your reader. This is just the desktop browser solution; you can also do that with RSS apps on your phone.
3) Tapas
If you haven’t heard about Tapas yet, you’re missing out. It has thousands of free (and paid) webcomics to read on your desktop browser or Phone app.In this last case, if you install the app on your phone and subscribe to the series, you can set it to get notifications when there are new comics to read.

5) Discord
We have a Discord server! In addition to being a really neat and tidy place to connect with other readers about Side Quested (or whatever, we don’t judge), joining our Discord will also let you receive notifications about new comics. If Discord is your thing, here’s our server!
6) Bonus: The most un-updated newsletter ever made!
We have really cute newsletter for important announcements. There aren’t a lot of these: we don’t send out comic updates over email, just announcements of really big news. It’s the least frequent newsletter you’ll ever subscribe to. Really. But, hey, you’ll be the first to know if we win an award or something.
This newsletter is hosted on Medium. When you subscribe, please mind that Medium will subscribe you to a lot of junk email too, so you’ll have to unroll from them if you don’t want to hate us forever. We really don’t want you to hate us forever, if possible.
